Congratulations to our exceptional Logistics Associate Apprenticeship graduates, Eoin O’Halloran, of MEDITE SMARTPLY Europe in Clonmel, and Ricarda Kmeczo, of DB Schenker in Cork, who were awarded academic excellence awards at Munster Technological University Cork Campus last week.
Ricarda Kmeczo has been named Best Logistics Apprentice 2023.
Eoin was awarded the university’s Best Work-based Project Award 2023 for the Logistics Associate Apprenticeship.
We were thrilled to join in celebrating our apprentices’ success and privileged to present them with trophies.
Ricarda and Eoin, we are extremely proud of both of you, fantastic achievements.

Special thanks to DB Schenker Ireland and MEDITE SMARTPLY Europe for facilitating training, learning, and professional development opportunities for our apprentices in their organisations.
In particular, the mentors Johnny Greene of DB Schenker and Jerry Anglim of MEDITE SMARTPLY Europe have been instrumental and have made significant contributions to the apprentices’ hands-on training and their success, by providing support, and guidance, and sharing their industry expertise with apprentices over the past two years.
Last but not least, we’d like to recognise the outstanding lecturing team at the Faculty of Engineering and Science Munster Technological University (Cork Campus) for their support of apprentices in their academic journey.
